True that why does everyone on the right coast get to have all the fun. Hello we have the Rocky Mountains, tons of micro brew houses, and the list could go on. I vote Denver next year. What do you think.

From Cranberry to the city is about 25 minutes depending on what time we have to get into town. I'm only 7 miles from Cranberry. Plenty of bars/ restaurants and such in that area.

I come from Oklahoma every year, have not missed one yet since I started business 5 years ago. Great excuse to get away from work and talk trees all day and drink beer all night, way too much fun. Im staying at some place called the Omni, they had good block rates.

I was just on their site and noticed it will cost me $60 for the wife and I to see the expo. What is up with that? I have never bern to any expo that cost money.

its a pretty cool expo. I've never been to an expo that I didn't get education at, so I am used to the paying thing.

ML, with all the $ you spend on gear, your wife should be happy it costs you $60 for the two of you. That's $60 you are spending on her and not gear. Or $60 less you can spend on gear.

I agree, I don't mind the cost it is just the first time I have ever seen one on a major trade expo. Always have to pay for hunting, fishing, firearms.... expos and such.

PGH is really easy to hitch into but in my experience almost impossible to get a ride out of!
