Swivel lanyard idea

An idea I was playing around with today. RE swivaeye biner, a brass boat snap, and some hitch cord...

When I put a swivel on that side it started to let the whole lanyard roll along up and down on a stem in a way that made it difficult at best. That was with a swivel on the clip too, and that would seem to be a factor, but I have not tried with the shown arrangement. I'm curious how it goes for you

I've never really seen the need for a swivel function with my lanyard. It's not as much of a pivot point compared to your bridge. Let us know your thoughts after some climbs.

The swivel is pretty much nonfunctional on this one, but it does line up the pulley right where I want it.

It doesn't make much of a difference on the top D's, the old-school climbing belt lanyard attachment points, but makes a big difference on the lower attachment points
