Sweat in eyeprotection

I have recently started to use workglasses instead of visor. Problem is that every time I bend foreward or look down sweat drops down on the inside of the glases and everything gets blurry. Any good advice?

I noticed in the new sherrill catalog they are selling some bands to go around your forhead inside your hardhat that are supposed to help that from happening. Can't remember the name though?

Many glasses perform differently. Keep wearing eye protection and keep trying until you find the right ones for your face.

I'm not sure what's available commercially in an anti-fog application for eyeglasses like cars have RainX. Something to keep those little beads of sweat moving along.

OK, I will if I can find them. The ones I use have anti fog applications but they can´t cope with big drops of sweat. Norway is not that hot... must be a bigger problem for you over there.
(Voss is situated 60 degrees north, about like Anchorage)

treebear, rip the sleeves off old t-shirts, they make excellent headbands.

The material is thin enough so it does not add too much heat to your head.

but thick enough to absorb sweat, this works for me.

The problem I have with safety glasses is they are useless in the rain, the glasses get wet, the saw shavings and tree dirt then stick to the front of the glasses so they can make the job more dangerous through poor visibility.

So keep your visor. As you will know the saw shavings just hit the visor and bounce off.

Glasses are important, but remember to keep your visor down when you are chipping.
