Surf board leashes as chainsaw lanyards? With slight mods they seem to have similar function/max load!....(..like, wo bra!..)

.. Any thoughts?..

I've found that as a shark defense tool, chainsaws weren't very effective, so I no longer carry one with me while surfing.

Saw set up to break away at some point is pretty handy. Some are set to rip away at 250 lbs I think.
