summer 2014

Sounds like you need a break.

Maybe break your wrist and spend time with your family 24/7,living off insurance that just pays bills, trying to help your wife with your kids, but realising that even changing your kid will set you back in recovery, so best thing is to watch your wife do everything, while you curse ever doing this shit fucking cunt job but at same time cursing your neighbor for hiring a tree company that starts at730am but then being very critical of their collar cuts, site set up and clean up and the fact I could do so much better.......
Its all good mate, rough with the smooth, but thanks. Lot of rain this week....sometimes has a bit of a cleansing effect. Twice the work when you're climbing, but its a really good workout at times. We had a good job on pierce island wedsnesday....cold, crisp wind on the early morning crossing, in a positive sense....and a great way to travel to work. I have a lot to be grateful for.

Good Reg...lot of people look up to you so unfortunately or luckily you can set a vibe. Nice peaceful pic before the sun comes up, serene, before the carnage

I get lots of mail from people who watch, subscribers etc. Lots of people, especially new climbers say they learn stuff....never really looked at it that way, or tried to imagine it through their eyes, but whatever, cool. I meet people at the trade shows too that say the same thing, lots of people. So seems as its not too much messing about with cameras and stuff, then I'll keep doing it for as long as I can make the time. But thats not to suggest because I make videos of myself that Im conceited or anything. Its just a job. It gets old like any other. Would be nice to do something else for part of the year at least.

I feel you Reg. I quit working so damn much to focus on other things in life, as well as my tree work. The time given to myself to reflect on life and calm the mind has been a huge help with changing how I think, which seems to create our perception of a crazy world. I focus more on what I'm being, while I'm doing whatever it is that I'm doing. Then when its time to hit it again, I am ready, prepared, and with a smile on my face that genuinely is contagious. That's what lights me up inside. Your videos, also, have been a great help to me. The seeming calmness in the work you do really hits home. You seem to make your cuts with awareness or precision which is awesome to see. Best luck to ya.
