suggestions for climbing handsaw-highly aggressive

Do you guys where your Sugoi on your leg or hang it on your saddle?
I like the idea of having my saw on my leg, but it seems to loosen and rotate.
The plastic sheath I don’t like. Some time when I try to pull the saw out it gets stuck in the plastic sheath.

Mine gets (Zubat) stuck when I try to return it to the sheath. Actually it sticks when the saw is about all the way in - but it really isn't to the 'click' point.

The Sugoi is kinda big on the calf for my taste.

i use a zubat exclusively, except of course for the ibuki for larger diameter cuts!

Ive only snapped one Zubat blade ever. And I dont even think it was below freezing. Maybe you had a few from a bad run?

Surely it doesnt get much colder there than it does here. Not much anyway.
