Stihl advertisment.

Mark!
Nice Stihl add that I've been seeing in number of magazines. Also my wife saw your appearance on a Stihl timbersports on T.V. She didn't see the whole thing but she almost came in to wake me up. How is the Stihl sponsorship? What were you doing at a timbersport comp? And what's next? Inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks, Dan.

That's funny Dan. Oh, and congatulations to you and your new bride! That's really great

The Stihl "sponsorship" is great. They are eager to improve their products (if possible) and work towards finding new solutions. I am very happy to be associated with everyone at Stihl. They are a hardworking and dedicated bunch.

The Stihl TV show was probably something called "Stihl TV". It was filmed in GA ( most of it anyway) at the home of Chuck Leavelle from the Rolling Stones (also ISA 2001 Milwaukee). Timbersports is just one part of the program. I have yet to see it but glad to see some people in the industry have been able to.

What's next? Well, too much to even think about. Hopefully seeing you and a whole bunch of others in Seattle!

I am not sure if this is the place to talk about it but what the heck. I would like to see stihl come up with a better gas and oil cap design. The company I work for now employs alot Mexicans. They seem to have trouble getting them on tight. Also some how they seem to puncture the gas caps. I have never seen anything like it. We have tried to talk to them about it and explain to them. We dedicated most of safety meeting once just on how to tighten a cap. You think we might see any climbing competitions ever make it to TV and become as big as the timber sport series?
