Steel shank lineman boots for tree climbing?

Am I wrong that after spending 10's of thousands of hours in spurs over the last 40 years I have come to the conclusion that the Makalu is one of the top 2 spur boot I have ever climbed in?

Am I wrong in my belief that a thoughtful, well designed, purpose built spur boot needs a proper heel (something that the Scafell clearly lacks)?
