Standard 3/8ths vs LOW PRO

Just wondering what harm, if any, there's be in running standard 3/8 pitch chain on my MS 200t as opposed to the low pro chain.

I'm running out of my spool of low pro and I have no shortage of regular chain. Would be awful nice to not have a whole boatload of different chaings, presets and ties for a change.

Thots?

3/8th lo pro is actually .370 pitch chain. Slightly different than .375. Not interchangeable. and astreedoclang noted....

I have 100 feet of the good Stihl low pro chain that I might be interested in selling..... $250 plus delivery or thereabouts

Rick, "low Profile" chain is just that, a low profile. The cutter is much narrower and shorter to take a smaller "bite". That's why we use a 5/32's" round file. The tie straps smaller as well.
Three 8's chain is designed for chain saws with 60 CC's or more.
Low pro is the way to go for saws up to 40 CC.

I just ran a 201t the other day and I noticed that it had FULL chisel chain on it. I have wanted this for my 200 for a long time and I will be getting this chain in the future. It makes no sense to have semi chisel chai for a saw that only runs while aloft.

Full chisel is the only way to fly with the 200 IMHO
