Splicing Armour Prus Footlock Prussic.

Hi all hope everything is going good, started to splice a footlock prussic class 2 in armour prus followed instructions and when i came to doing the second eye being the large one i did not have enough core to extract to get the bury so wondered what others have done to get around this can we have reduce the amount of fids measured before extracting the core??

Or is there something im missing,

Cheers

The manufacturer has not released a recommendation for the splice. A fair amount of debate is happening with the cordage and splicing here in the US as a result. At this point you should check around with splicers in NZ or Australia. Remember that AP is a Class 2 core dependent double braid and if you wish to retain full tensile should be spliced accordingly. Also, since the core has a low melting point and could be severed easily just by friction during a descent, any eye you create should have the cover still attached.

I didn't think Donaghy's stuff was available in the US. I know there has been debate about Bail Out in the US.
