Splice Eye catching friction hitch

Deevo, RajElectric thanks for the recommendations. I have made a few purchases from treestuff but was thinking with exchange it might be cheaper to buy local. Good to know it isn't, guess treestuff will continue to get my business.
When I made my order I was concerned about the custom fees. I had it shipped to a parcel pick up place in Port Huron. I made the trip over and grabbed it. All in all it worked out pretty good.

JeffGu, thanks for posting pics of your setup. Man thats a ton of gear. $$$.

Brocky, slick idea.

Any recommendations on tree-gear stores within Ontario?

Thanks
N
Try Sheppard's Supply in Pefferlaw. 705-437-2526 Ask for Kirk, tell him Chuck sent you (y)
They don't really have a website. Their store is an old barn in the middle of nowhere. They sell a ton of electrical related stuff to hydro companies (Ont. Hydro) They have quite a selection of arborist gear in stock. Kirk travels to some of the arborist events in Ontario. Amazing prices. Hanging rope to try harnesses, gear, etc. They are also a Sherrill dealer, but sell all other brands as well. You really have to go to the store to see all their selection. Bring lots of $. I can't help spending 2-3x what I originally planned. Did I mention the great prices? :)

Just call me old school.. I think it's safe as long as you take proper assurances. Just not something I'd set up, and I don't see much advantage to having the bitter end of the climb rope locked down like that. Also while showing a new climber info it's best to KISS

Hey guys here are a few pics of my HC setup. Attempting a michoacán hitch using both a 8 mm and 10 mm E2E. Tried it out a few times inside, seems to catch quickly with little sit back. I am looking forward to giving it a full run in a tree.

Thanks
N
