I played around with. 3wrap 3 braid vt on a fairly new 9.3 epi and it seemed to do better than the Distel

Wait, stop. New static Kernmaster? How'd I miss this. Saw the specs. Does anyone have it up for sale yet?

I'd still like someone with the RR, CBD or Akimbo to try the Samson Static 11mm? I have the rope, not the mechanicals. It's similar elongation (3,2% at 10% 7700lbs, Kernmaster is 3% at 10% 7100lbs), but holds it's roundness on my RW and makes Kernmaster feel like bungy and look flat like a sandwich run over. Kernmaster does however, stiffen once in use.

What's the hand like?

The hand is awesome and really knotable. 1.5% elongation at 10% mbs and light. My only dissatisfaction is that mechanicals flatten it out badly on one end of the spectrum and then slips on the other. Can’t seem to find a sweet spot. The rope wrench and hh2 seem to grip well. I’m thinking it will be nice for rec climbing with the HH2

Yeah. Haven’t actually climbed on it yet but went up and down in the basement. I found the Matt Cornell hitch worked good too with hrc cordage and rope wrench

I will stick to Yale 11.7. Just great all round rope.

I’m a big fan of Teufelberger kernmantle series. I own all three.

Xstatic could fly. Drenaline too. Have only climbed on xstatic for ascent event.

Yale Kernmaster 11mm for my SRT climbs and Yale 11.7mm for my Dbrt climbs.
