The magnets are for sure technique intense. For practical use a distance of 10 to 15 feet is useful. The 60 footers are where it gets fun (frustrating) and non-profitable.

I had a similar problem the other day where the magnet weighed the line too much and would slide back toward me. It may have just been my insistence on using the larger magnet. Time to play with a heavier bag and/or the smaller mag.

EDIT: My bad. I watched the video again and I had put the mini-biner on the line with the mag instead of the bag line. Duh...that's what happens when I don't practice on the ground first.
