Solo lowering?

I suppose a difficulty is retrieving the lowering line. Maybe put a sling and carabiner on each limb to be lowered. The doubled-up lowering line, running through the biner, could then be retrieved. Is there a better way?

There was another thread on using loopies and some gadgetry a few years back. Couldn't possibly point you in the right direction though.

double-whip-tackle with sling and biner.

Solo zipline can work wonders on a conifer canopy raise. You can cut hook branches onto a speedline, natural-crotch style.

Mid-line attachment of the rope to pieces. Eg. A 200' rope can make (8) 35' or so lowers.

Reg, showed a way of hitching branches to a stationary rigging line that, when limbs were cut, they would swing back to the conifer trunk, over an open dropzone. Once in the open dropzone, it was a matter of dicing and/ or unhooking.

F8 on the piece to be lowered like SRT but this is piece is self lowering SRR single rope rigging. Thunder sling, biner wrap, munter.
Easiest is weave/wrap rope on the piece and anchor to tree

That video is great and quite technical.

My idea consists of just a rope and carabiner.

I'll try and explain, just wrap 3 wraps around the branch and pass the bite though the carabiner, that creates a 2:1 advantage or a friction advantage, the bite loop can be placed over a stub, pulley or carabiner, once the piece is on the floor, it's an easy release.

Again I'll try and photo soon.
