Solidur Pants

Company I contract off of went with the lower end solidur as well as one of the top end ones. So far, I’d give them a 3 star rating. I don’t wear them, but they really don’t last as long as my pfanners or cloggers. In 3 months they’re much more torn up then my pfanners and mine are a year old, with probably 6 months of working in them. The cloggers are really nice and feather light, but imo the pfanner gladiator vents are the best saw pants on the market. The top end of the solidur pants is not much cheaper last I looked

I bought a pair of the Solidur comfy pants to try out. So far so good. They are a lot heavier than other pants, winter only here in NH. They have held up good so far. I wish they had a back pocket, that's my only complaint. They upper thigh material seemed like it might pill but it hasnt. I have about two months of actual climbing in them

Just ordered the handy arborist ones tonight to see if they are any good before I would drop the coin on the infinity ones. What’s $124 bucks for some climbing pants....

They seem to have cool features to their higher end stuff so I want to be optimistic

So I just got the solidur handy pants in the mail. My current sip progress pants are on their last leg. Like I said I wanted their higher end saw pants but these seemed a reasonable investment to see about quality.

Bungee waist. High back. cordua knees. Couple nice zippered pockets on the legs. The construction seems to be good as well as the material.

I do wish the two hip pockets and two back pockets were zippering but I guess not the end of the world. Also there is no gaiter to them.

All in all they seem like a really nice pant that should hold up, but we’ll see when I get back to work Monday.
