Selling our 10” Bandit chipper. We purchased this just over a year ago to use as a backup chipper. We took it out about 4-5 times last year. It’s got new wheels, fresh oil change (synthetic oil), new knives and anvil. Fresh paint. Great little unit, but we just bought a brand new Morbark 15” and don’t need this one anymore. Asking $12,000, open to offers.

Which engine, and hours? New paint tends to put me off, especially when all of the hoses (and cracks) are painted... Curious if you had it tooled up or the prievious owner? Thanks, sweet little machines for sure.

It’s a Hatz engine. There’s a pic of the engine plate in original post. I’m not sure where to find the hours on the unit.

The previous owner painted the unit, we did all the other maintenance I mentioned in the original post. We also had a guard custom made to cover the belts on the engine.

If I had the funds, I'd have already bought it. Would have been a game-changer for my little operation. Unfortunately, money is growing in the wrong direction. Best of luck!

I’m honestly quite surprised no one has snatched this up yet. It’s a great unit for a small outfit or someone in need of a good pruning chipper.

I’m really surprised as well, it’s an excellent machine and the price is killer. Almost slack jawed shock, for real. Last place I worked that had it, I always chose the 90xp diesel which they kept as their backup and occasional 2nd crew machine. The primary chipper was a Vermeer 1250 I think, had vertical feed rollers. I hated that thing, and I’d always try to leave it at the shop.
Also ran a gas 90xp for a few years, Wisconsin I think. Reliable and got it done but no balls.
I don’t think it’s possible to find another comparable machine like this for 9k.

I’m heading to Pittsburgh in November for the TCIA Expo if someone on the East coast was interested but didn’t want to make the drive to the Midwest. I could bring it with me.
