Skydiving...

I have!

Buckeye, AZ 13,000 feet mang!

A couple of things I didn't like:

1- The 124mph wind rushing up my nose hurt.
2- The 124mph wind rushing in my ears hurt.

For that brief moment of free fall, I wished I had swimmers ear plugs and a nose clamp.

Other than that, it was a blast!

That is cool. Thanks for the heads up on the plugs. Is that the only time?

Only one time for me. I did it just before I got married. A friend paid for my experience. Got a video and a bunch of still shots with the deal.

My face looked like it was made of thin rubber.

You shouldn't jump out of planes. It's bad for your constitution.

In Hawaii????

When I asked "In Hawaii????" What I ment to ask was. It was cold in Hawaii? I understood what you was saying...just didn't know it got cold in Hawaii?

I did it just this past Labor day. I actually thought it was relaxing. LOL

Compared to being up in a really really sketchy tree, falling from 14,000 ft didnt really seem like a big deal. The glide in on the parachute was so serene and peaceful. Would do it again, but not if I had to pay for it. Didnt really get much of a rush off it, and ended up with my ears being all plugged up and stuffy for a few days.

IMO, theres more fun to be had in the trees. :-)

When I was a kid, I wanted to skydive more than anything, read everything I could on the subject. Never got around to it, even though I racked up nearly 150 hours as a private pilot.

If I could do it inexpensively, I would try it.
