Silky saws...

So our Silky longboy bit the dust the other day, and I thought I would still be able to find one. I looked high and low, and could not find any online. Does someone know where I can order one outside of the US? It is the ultimate saw to keep in the lift with us for deadwooding, etc.

There’s an eBay seller that’ll get you individual sections if that’s all you need, I believe shipped from Japan.

Did the entire unit with all 3 or 4 sections get hit?

Actually the entire pole isn’t TOO expensive, and shipping ain’t awful.

As far as I know, you should still be able to order parts and sections from US sellers.

I ordered a new Hayate off of eBay last summer or fall. I didn't need a new one right now, but figured I'd better get it while the getting was good!

So treestuff has parts list for the silky long boy. When I selected my part and went to check out, it said place your order today - we will ship it in 4 to 6 months!

Unfortunately you can’t. Sherrill has the exclusive on distribution in the US. Accordingly if to sherrill silky thinks Americans are too dumb to use their poll saws because we electrocute ourselves with them. Ironically sherrill released their brand of aluminum pole-saws about a week later. You can get parts to repair but that’s about it unless you order from overseas
