Hi, guys;
I've been using a Silky Zubat for several years. I needed to replace the blade and couldn't unscrew the nuts and bolts which attaches the handle to the saw blade. (I used the blade for a year.) I took the saw to a hardware store to have the nuts and bolts unscrewed. The hardware store people were successful getting the nuts and bolts apart. It turned out the nuts and bolts were rusting together. It was recommended to me I use an anti-seize lubricating compound on the nuts and bolts when I put the hand saw back together, which I did. The anti-seize compound should eliminate the problem of the nuts and bolts rusting together in the future.
I hope to get more working time from this current saw before I buy another since blades are cheaper than a new hand saw. For the people who work in wet environments, it might be a good idea to get ahead of the nuts and bolts rusting problem before getting discouraged trying to replace the blade and throwing away the whole saw.
Joe
