Silky America no more?

I've been using a pair of the Lowe anvil pruners since Expo and I really like them. Never in my life did I think that anything but a Felco would be in my sheath. They are a wonderful tool!

I want some Lowe hand pruners.

So far, I'm at least as happy with the Samurai handsaws as the Silkys and I might just try Wolfgarten for my next polesaw/pruner.

Silky is good, they raised the standard for saw blades but they aren't the only game around.

pm me about this.......

Well I know where to get the cheapest Silkys now

Yes this might be true now, aint it sad, if he can't find away to copy it and sell it in a different color. He has to gobble it up and control the sales. Happy days fork face I'll be buying ARS from now on, besides it a better product.

all it means is that you will get your silky's faster..sherrill has provided nothing but quality service and products to me and my guys. you sound mad lmao.

Yeah, it really shouldn't affect the pricing very much at all. Shouldn't really go up or down much, beyond the usual materials increase.

I think in the end it should be a vast improvement in shipping speed and backorder reduction etc.

But we shall see.

What a dismal attitude. Why do folks put up with such negativity from those with so little to contribute?

Can bet I don't keep shut when people talk trash about you guys.

Sad.

I hear ya Tobe. Sometimes arguing with these people only brings you down to their level. They are more powerful with a keyboard than human contact.

Good luck witht he Silky deal, hopefully the backorders and slow shipping to delaers will be resolved!

I have no qualms with Sherrill Tree, I think it's a well run business that stays involved in the industry. I've never been dissatisfied with them. I just wish it was easier to order living in state because I pay tax AND shipping.

Amen to that! There is a serious lack of respect among some of our members. SherrillTree does a lot for the North American arboriculture industry. It's tasteless and embarrassing for the rest of the members to make a post knocking someone else's business on this site.

AAwwww it's ok Tobe

they are still going to buy from you.

Nah I still pretty much say the same stuff face to face. Call them like I see them.

Guilty conscience?

Do you feel like you have a dismal attitude, Holly?

Personally, I think it all the Jack- in you that bubbles to the surface.

Without you, this place would blow hard though. Especially because you know your stuff, and aren't afraid to knock people down a peg or two.

I also like the double nuts.

And for the record, I think Sherrill Tree does more for this industry than they have to.

If you don't like their prices, go buy your stuff from somewhere else. If you like their customer service (like I do), then keep buying from them.

To me, the quality of their catalogs and their commitment to increasing awareness about recreational tree climbing is why I remain a customer.

It's called a business opportunity and Sherrill Tree is seizing it. The deal will cover issues of any sort of unfair competition.

Silky America didn't do the job and now Tobe's stepped up. Good luck to you.

As for the attitude challenged I wouldn't worry about them. They lack fundamental understanding of business.

As for pricing they do have a good, not great, price guarantee.
