Sequoia SRT vs. Sequoia and ZigZag ?

Tintenfleck = Ink spot/splat ;-) Don't see them much these days since hardly anyone is writing with a quill pen anymore, went the the way of the Tautline Hitch.

Interesting. I would not have guessed that. However, it is a word that I might use, because it does occasionally apply to me. I keep a fountain pen on my desk, that’s what I do nearly all of my writing with, and have for several years. Yes, I know I am a bit odd.

That is awesomely not odd! There’s no comparison from any modern marker to the line made by ink flow out of a quill whether metal nib or other.

John Muir made a dark brown/black ink from the interesting crystalline/hardened resin-like material that protects the seeds inside a Giant Sequoia cone. Makes sense, he couldn’t go to the corner store and buy ink when he was in the Sierra Nevada writing his journals.
