SEQUOIA \"?Arborist?\" saddle

Can someone explain!! This diagram came with the petzl sequia "arborist" climbing saddle? I'm not sure if this is breaking strength at the floating bridge attachment(15KN)? Shouldn't this component have a minimum breaking strength of at least 22KN for an "arborist saddle". If this is the case why do Wesspur, Sherrill, and other Tree suppliers sell this saddle with no disclaimer that it doesn't meet OSHA/ANSI standard for the US or Europe MBS?

Also, Can anyone tell me the breaking strength of the rings or bridge? I can't find any info on the "Gated Rings" only the Non-Gated (23KN). I understand these would share the load so I am curious which component is the weak link?
(bridge or rings)- Can I simply replace the bridge to meet requirements?

The 15kn stated is the minimum rating required to meet the european standard.

Most euro manufacturers will only quote that figure, even if their product actually tested to much higher.

Thanks, I thought 22KN was the european standard.

What I've been told by a reliable source is that the 23 kN requirement for arborist saddles expired 18 months ago and has not been renewed by the committee that reviews the standard. I put in a call to someone on the Z133.1 committee but they were unavailable at the time. I was also informed that some large tree care companies (no names were mentioned but I'm sure you can guess) are aware of this and have approved the use of the Petzl Sequoia, Treemagineers treeMotion and Buckingham ergovation (all 3 don't meet the Z133.1 standard)despite the failure to meet the ANSI standard. Take it for what it's worth.

Besides being under rated, I bought a Sequoia in a pinch this past winter for my employee. In a pinch, the Sequoia puts your tenders all of the time.

I'll never buy another one again. It is the most uncomfortable harness ever.

I tried one of my employees a couple years ago and hated it.Then recently I climbed in the larger size and loved it.I honestly forgot I wasnt wearing my treemotion for the most part.would I trade it for my TM-nah but for the money its a nice harness.
