As all the new stihls blow! I happen to have in my possession, a 3year old ms260 and a 4year old ms200( ported and polished). My question is this; what is the going rate? Both are in great shape.

Up here in Canada I would say if your 260 is in good shape them as high as $350 but thats the high end for sure , ported 200 would be worth more but most guys would want to run the saw to see how it works

Thanks, I'm thinking $600 for the pare would be fair. I really want the 357xp with full wrap and other goodies I've been drooling over at the dealer.
I'd love to switch my crane crew over to husqvarna, 2 357xp 1 372xp and a 395xp

You should get $600 easy if they look nice , nothing wrong with the 357 but take a look at the 562 xp when your at your dealer , very nice saw and strong in the cut , the 357 is not made any more and the 562 took its place , also if your buying a 372 make sure its the older style saw not the new style , look at the jug and if you see a plate with 4 screws in it on the side of the jug where the transfer ports are then its a new style saw , nothing wrong with the new style just that the 365 is the same motor just that the door has a port closing door built into the door so all you need to do is remove that part sticking into the transfer port which takes a couple minutes and is about $175 cheaper , the new style saws all take very well to porting also , they make very big torque .

Yep, grab 2 562's they are great saws! I have half husky and half stihls saw wise right now, slowly going to all Husky, my 066 is still a strong saw, but is for sale, and will likely keep my 3 yr old ms-200T as a back up when I buy the new 540xp.
