Kevin Masters Arborist Services is a full-service tree care company based in Worthington, Ohio. We are seeking to fill the position of TREE CREW OPERATIONS MANAGER
Duties will include:
*Oversight and leadership over 3 to 6 other employees while performing production work on residential and commercial properties, both to ensure safe work practices and high-quality work.
*Training and coaching of individual employees.
*Management of the shop such as delegating maintenance chores and providing inventory requests to the general manager.
*Performing work in tree care operations as needed, including climbing, aerial lift operation, large tree pruning, hazardous tree removal, ornamental pruning, cabling and bracing of trees, and ground work.
*Dedication to safe work practices as outlined in ANSI Z133.
*Driving company trucks to and from jobs.
*Follow and enforce company policies with the crew.
*Interface with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, answer questions, handle any on-site changes to the work order.
*Daily morning meeting to interface with the other managers of the company.
Candidate must:
*Be proficient and professional in all aspects of tree care and conduct in the workplace.
*Be able to climb, prune, and remove trees to industry standards with modern climbing and rigging techniques.
*Be ready to work outside all year long in all seasons.
*Have a valid driver’s license with at least a class B CDL and clean MVR.
*Have strong leadership and communication abilities, with a positive attitude to lead by example.
*Be on time to work every day.
*Be able to work a flexible schedule in regard to when the day is completed. General hours worked will be 7am until 4 or 5pm.
*Maintain a professional appearance.
*Must have high-school degree or GED.
*ISA certified arborist, TCIA CTSP, or any relevant college degree(forestry, horticulture, arboriculture) are highly desired, value-added credentials.
