With today's economy there's always going to be someone that will do it cheaper and with what I heard, things are worst in the USA. I know it's hard to drop price and what I have been doing is meeting with the homeowner and talking with them upfront and honestly. When coming down in price I am going to try to come down in less price. Depending on the job if its a thousand dollars then maybe coming down 50 bucks where as I would immediately drop a hundred. Covering all the bases from insurance, lawn damage, references, and so on. When speaking with them I also take time and don't seem to be in a rush. Also I remove the sunglasses so they can make eye contact with me. This seems to really help. You probably already know or include these points but maybe help someone else. I am really getting pumped about the sales part this year. I am familiar with cutting aspect and really want to improve with the sales end this year. As important as the job itself really. Cheers!
