Samson Hyperclimb 150' like new

Only have one short clean climb this hank of Hyperclimb. Nice rope, I just quickly realized that it slides through my bulldog as I have it adjusted for all my other 11.7's. Finished the climb with my Akimbo (that I don't often use) and it ran great. The BD is my go to device and I'm too lazy to readjust every time I use this rope, so I'd like to let it go to a better home. Not sure how much shipping cost would be on this. Local pick might be best. I'm in Mid-coast Maine. Make me an offer. Thanks hyperclimb.jpg

I love Hyperclimb. I have 200’, 100’, and 75’ hanks depending on the tree height. The Akimbo is adjusted to go between all 3 without issue. I will say that there is a little more slippage on the 75’ as it’s not used as much but still within a comfortable experience.

Serf Life, do you find that you can switch back and forth between your Hyperclimb and Yale 11.7 without readjusting your BDB?
I keep the adjustment on my BDB nearly wide open, with a light touch to move on my other 11.7's Yale, Cherry Bomb, Cougar puke, etc. I'm also a skinny little bugger, 150 lbs soaking wet. If I readjust the BDB, I'm sure I could get it to run well on the Hyperclimb, I'm just too lazy to readjust between different 11.7's.
I like Muggs comment about Hyperclimb being a great rope once it's broken in. I have been wondering if the Hyperclimb will loose slickness as it fuzzies up a bit with use, and run more like my other older 11.7's?

Brian, on my new elongated bdb both work just fine. On my much older bdb the hyper slipped when new then not when worn in, I don’t have much weight on you either! The hyper milked a ridiculous amount and I prefer the hand of the yale.

Nice, thanks a bunch for the betta Serf Life! I've heard others mention mondo milking with the hyper. Hard to go wrong with yale. Been climbing some scandere that seems pretty nice so far, super smooth and stays round even in mechanicals. Only have a fairly short hank, so haven't got a feel yet for how bouncy it is compared to other 11.7s.

Matias, if I do end up hanging on to the hyper, like the idea of running some cordage for a while to bring on the fuzz.

Oldoakman, washing - also a great idea, thanks!

I do have several other new to me 11.7s that I'm trying out at the moment that are running well without any readjustment from my other ropes. So, for the time being my offer still stands for anyone who is interested in a basically new 150' hank of Hyperclimb.
