What a double prick. Honestly I smelled the rat. Not going to start a negative posting of why. Even online I am pretty good at judging character. It is a skill that I seem to have. But that guy has been very dishonest.
 
My logical brain also smelled a rat when the "wife" posted. How many of our wives would find their way on to Treebuzz and find the correct thread, etc without help, and if he was guiding her through the process he would have just logged on himself, seeing as his hands weren't part of his injury. However I decided to stay open to any possibility in case he really was injured badly.

My wife would never step foot on my personal stuff ever. That is overstepping. Vice versa.

Ordinarily, I would be very against this kind of thing, but this isn't some big, public, site-wide call to doxx some stranger on Reddit. This seems like a viable approach.
 
I just don’t get it….. running only makes you look guilty, hiding makes you look guiltier. Yeah, I may only be out $150 + shipping no big deal right? We make that within an hour right? It’s my hard earned money, no matter the amount, or how long it took to acquire…… then there’s my trust, my trust that has been violated, and for that I AM pissed. In the passed three years I’ve been taken for $30k, $700, and now this…. all from “tree people” it sucks.

You have been around the block, viewing from both sides of the fence. It becomes easier to judge character when you have waded through all forms.
