- Have experience with long-term selling techniques including pitching, presentations, public speaking, and networking.
- Seek out knowledge and have deep understanding of common tree care topics including pruning, pests, disease, soil, preservation, and tree risk assessment .
- Are skilled at listening to clients and identifying their goals.
- Work independently and possess a strong task management system
Qualifications are not necessary, but certainly help. They include:
- ISA Certified Arborist or ISA Board Certified Master Arborist
- ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified
- Degree in horticulture, arboriculture, or forestry
- Have equivalent experience with pruning, pests + disease, and preservation and care of trees
