Safety Lanyards

I've been making several E2E Blaze and Bandit safety lanyard, but all my prussik's have been 3/8" cord that I tie triple fisherman's on. I want to progress my art and knowledge. What Prussik cord should I go with?

for blaze/bandit there are a lot of options that work well. 8mm bee line or 8mm ocean poly are my favorites. They are very different to splice, but both of them are pretty easy when compared to some others I could name. I'm by no means an expert when it comes to splicing but I think I can say that much with out steering you wrong. Here's a link for the 8mm bee line. http://www.treebuzz.com/forum/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=247887&an=0&page=3#247887

I have a Beeline Prussik loop for secure foot locking, but all the places that sell it recomend only a professional splicer. Granted I could try it and test it but i'm a bit cautious about going that route.

Meh, get yourself some tenex. It works great for a lanyard because it doesn't see a lot of friction or long descents. It's easy to splice and it is cheap, so when it gets covered in sap or gets too much memory you can just quick splice a new one and off you go.

Tenex isn't a bad option at all for lanyards. op 8mm is pretty, and it goes together quickly and easily for a double braid, but splicing hollow braid is lightning fast. +1 for tenex.
