Saddles: Bare Naked or Mr. Bo-Jangles

[ QUOTE ]
Buy a pair of Arborwear tech pants, then put your leatherman in one of the cargo pockets, easily accessible below your saddle. The $75 solution!!

Already have them but it still doesn't solve the problem of attaching it to a saddle. I have the belt holder for it, wish the belt on the saddle was removable to attach it that way.

I use to were mine on my belt and my saddle above my belt to hold my saddle up then I tried an alaice clip with holes cut in the belt loop of the holster and thrue the loop under the bolay thing on the gack of my saddle
does that make any sense

climb020 take the case the leatherman comes in, take a small piece of line 5mm or so, tie a good end knot to the strap on back of case and tie it to the gap near your side D's, you can doctor it up just need to be a little creative and don't need to go out and buy 75.00 pants to fix a small problem...

Was just try to get some ideas to attach it but I think I came up with something. There are so many attachment points on the motion that I think I will able to take a keychain biner and attach the belt loop to it and then clip the biner to the saddle in a horizontal position. I like everything to look very clean and not like it was just rigged up to work. Mental thing I guess. But I bought the techs cause they hold up better than anything else I have tried. Can't wait to test out my stretch airs in 2 weeks though.

i got my leatherman (knockoff) in a pouch but it has a cord on a winder. its kind of like the ones janitors keep the keys on. its very handy and you do not need to worry about it getting snagged on a limb. i attach the pouch to my saddle with some old throwline. works well.

They said that it will be shipped on Jan. 5th I believe. I will give a full review 1 week after I recieve it to let you guys know what I think of it.
Still waiting to hear about the hitch climber though. Treeworker.uk said it would be available this month, and I was hoping someone might have gotten one already and could give some feedback on it.

Maybe I have missed something in the way of a joke, but is that really a 'scant' set-up because that looks like a pretty full harness... oh sorry, I mean saddle!

No criticisms, each to their own as far as i'm concerned.

MattB, he's climbing with a mini portawrap attached to his harness, peeping out at the right hand side.

This is a must have for all progressive arbos.

I thought the "port-o-wrap" attached to the saddle, I mean harness would be a clue

Ahh, you were joking! Ha!

I find the mini porty excellent for lowering small branches from my harness using my climbing line of course.

Never underestimate the countless uses for this device when attached to your saddleski(russian for harness).

I have my lanyard (15'), Zubat, couple spare biners, chainsaw tool, ART RG, 200T, Pantin. If I SRT to the top add a CMI Expidition and its teather, if SRTing on an ascent line, add a ICS Rocker.

Everything stows away cleanly on my BFlyII. The spare biners go on a gear loop on the back, ascenders go on the middle loop. The ART, tool, pantin, and lanyard tail (if needed) fit in the ditty bag.

Doh! My apologies RogerM, I clearly wasn't paying very careful attention to the photo...I thought you were wearing an odd fitting pair of pants and you were excited to be adorned in some much gadgetry!!
