s r t multiple redirect flex

An effective method for reducing bounce in a springy redirect that you tallk about is to take a nonlocking carabiner, ore a locking carabiner. The carabiner is not for any load bearing purpose but just take both sides of rope on the redirect and clip them together. This increases the amount the rope goes around the limb meaning much more friction and less movement. I will take a picture. WHen you pull it out the biner just falls to the ground. Another reason to use a sort a non locking or an old biner

here is my lazy rainy day inside picture of what im talking about. Note the potential gate loading on biner. lots of friction so may be hard to pull out if you are going through a lot of redirects.

I thought of that but then you risk jamming it in another redirect if you have one somewhere previous.

Just one of many solutions to add onto yours :)

If you are intending on returning to the redirect and you really want to lock off the stem you can tie proper butterflies or even slip knots and clip off the redirect to itself so your redirect is basically just guyed off.

I used this carabiner trick today. It worked great. Thanks Kevin
