Im sold. I borrowed one for a few weeks from a good friend (thanks Dave!). It really is a labor saver. Our industry is known for repetitive use injuries, footlocking is hard on your joints, hips, knees, ankles, wrists, hands, etc. If a tool like this can reduce such injuries it has to be good. Not to mention its a blast to pull the trigger and crawl right up the rope.
I heard a bit from the naysayers.....one guy said " oh just what the world needs, another 2 cycle engine" I can only laugh, get a f'ing clue, consider what our job would be like if someone had said that before chainsaws came along.
Another guy told me "trees are living breathing creatures, using a wraptor is not being at one with nature and the tree"
Quite simply its a labor saving tool that will increase efficiency, and help promote longevity in our careers because it can reduce long term damage caused by repetitive motions.
Of course the naysayers are young and new to industry, "footlocking is fun" (lol), give it a few years gang. Start dealing with some degenerative joints or muscles on a daily basis, then tell me what a joke the wraptor is.
