Ropetek Wraptor

It is made for Ropetek by Atlantic Braids! It is Dynamic rope, as per Paul's specifications!!!!

Now all I need is a good storm so I can do some tree work. The industry up here has tanked witha halflife!!!!

I was skeptical of its Value when I first learned of the Wraptor.

All it took was one 75 ft pitch and I was sold. I take it up 30 ft trees too. i had a line of 6, 25 ft Norg Maples and said heck, I paid for The Toy...It seemed like a lot of messing around, but i was not tired, and was able to fly through the 40% thinning these bushy things needed.

Next week i'll be logging a back yard with some huge elms, the center tree is 95ft if not 100, this will make setting blocks a breeze.

The reasoning PAul gave mr was that "IF a targeet crotch broke out, or the rope was hung up on an un-seen stick" the dynamic rope would soften the shock to the unit and the operator.

I just thought of something funny, are Wraptor users still tree climbers?????

Rope climbers first and then when once up in the tree, tree climbers.
I have been using the Wraptor now for six months and I'm loving it. You don't have to be old or slow to get the benifits of such a wonderful unit. The hardest part about climbing is getting up the tree. Now however that is old hat. Nothing works like a WRAPTOR. Thanks Paul for bringing the idea to reality. You are the MAN. Well deserving respect to you and the moving forward with the concept. Their hasn't been anything like this to come along since the aerial lift was first used in the profession. The sky is the limit with a WRAPTOR.....

Im sold. I borrowed one for a few weeks from a good friend (thanks Dave!). It really is a labor saver. Our industry is known for repetitive use injuries, footlocking is hard on your joints, hips, knees, ankles, wrists, hands, etc. If a tool like this can reduce such injuries it has to be good. Not to mention its a blast to pull the trigger and crawl right up the rope.
I heard a bit from the naysayers.....one guy said " oh just what the world needs, another 2 cycle engine" I can only laugh, get a f'ing clue, consider what our job would be like if someone had said that before chainsaws came along.
Another guy told me "trees are living breathing creatures, using a wraptor is not being at one with nature and the tree"

Quite simply its a labor saving tool that will increase efficiency, and help promote longevity in our careers because it can reduce long term damage caused by repetitive motions.

Of course the naysayers are young and new to industry, "footlocking is fun" (lol), give it a few years gang. Start dealing with some degenerative joints or muscles on a daily basis, then tell me what a joke the wraptor is.

Ricky, got CMIs in today and yours will ship tomorrow (Friday). We typically have everything in stock but we had a rush of orders right before christmas and CMI was out of stock. Hope you enjoy it when it gets there...

Great Paul. That didn't take long. I have to admit I'm alittle giddy, Hell I'm way giddy. If you could pm me the tracking number or email it to me that would be fantastic. Thanks for the heads up and can't wait. I already got 2 days line up for it and should be epic.
