Rope Coiling

It's fast but not. Keep it in a bag imo
  1. Off the muck
  2. Foot traffic
  3. Easier to see/track
  4. Haul up out of the way of crash, saws, snag etc
  5. Faster to pack up and move through the canopy on redirects, Double e crotching
Obviously short ropesonly get baged at days end and not when wet

I freely admit that I ripped off your shelf idea. I decided to keep my rear seat functional for my kiddos though. I have a roof rack for long or bulky gear. Oh and my spare is up there. I really like how stealthy it is.

To get back on track: Those who like rope bags should check out Imlay Canyon Gear, they have some nice stuff.

Doesn't the fuel and oil vapor get to you? I've had to drive a couple times with a fuel can and weed eater in my hatch back and thought I was going to pass out 3 miles down the road

the little cans that the premix gas comes in are good for the car. you can refill them from the gas can, but they seem to seal real nice
