Roll Off or Log Truck

I just wanted some outside input or suggestions. I am at the point in my business where I need a dedicated log or wood truck. I am grappling (no pun intended) with the decision to purcase either a roll off truck or log truck. Either truck will be used, not new. We do a large amount of removals and land clearing along with pruning and tree planting. I know the roll off truck is a more diversified unit, but the log truck hass its benefits as well. On removals, we always have a bobcat on site to move wood around, so that would load the roll off box.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't understand why more trucks don't utilize a z boom? I mean, what are the disadvantages? They're lighter, faster, stronger? And they fold out of the way allowing you to put equipment in the back AND not having to move it to dump...I feel like it's clearly better in all aspects?
 
I don’t know that they’re lighter, faster, or stronger in general, conceptually they are the same in operation as a traditional loader and should be about the same. Using higher strength steel could save weight which would also increase lifting capacity and expense.

They also can’t use a traditional (American) clam shell/debris grapple and stow with it attached.
 
I have a roll off truck with a hiab on it live it 20yard bin. Nice to have the ability to swap out different setups like a flat bed enclosed bin to chip into or a open bin. So versatile. Log truck is just going to be a log truck

I could have sworn one of the locals here have/had a z style loader with grapple clam attached at all times.
 
I noticed a debris style grapple on Royal's link. My grapple truck had a 60" wide, 76" opening debris grapple. It looks like wider grapple is only limited by the width between the cab and body.
