Do any of you guys out there ever run into a guy by the name of Rob Dillon at any of the comps? He is out of western montana. An old friend of mine. About 10 years back I believe he was competing pretty hard in the Rocky Mtn chapter and as of 3 years ago i knew he was doing a fair amount with aerial rescue training/competing? My details are obviously very vague but I couldnt help but wonder if anyone knew him.

The committee decided on Denver for next year although they were receptive to my lobbying.
Another idea that I had was to host a Durango invitational similar to CAA comp. Sort of a warmup for the chapter comp. The potential sponsors I have spoken to seem like they are all about it(read-SKA brewing!) Maybe host it in say mid June so the weather is nice and there is other stuff people can do.
Anyone?

Maybe a few from AZ would be interested. I am not much of a climber at all, 99% time spent dealing with customers and crews. I do like to watch a good comp though.

James would easily have made the Masters -- probably 2nd overall-- if he hadn't had the bad luck of breaking a rotten branch in the throw line. He lost 18 points, and almost made it in anyway.

Totally agree.

Charlie - congrats man! Will be great to see you climb in my neck of the woods!!

No women!?!?! Drat gang, what happened?

Last time I had the pleasure of visiting the RMC (2005) you were fostering 3 or 4 women climbers, what happened?
