Rock ropes are better designed for cams anywho......wet wont matter. "dry" treated ropes are more for ice climbing where water would freeze the rope into cable

Dry ropes are also more abrasion resistant,not to mention sap. Although as a rock climber/vertical caver for many moons, my opinion is to keep the rock ropes out of the trees and keep the tree ropes off the rocks.
