- Retired in Minneapolis
By this weekend I'll have my camper packed and ready for its first major roadtrip. Rightnow the only sure thing is to be in Charlotte for the Comp. On my way down I have some stops planned.
Here's the trip tic:
Minneapolis
Land Between the Lakes/Paducah, KY
Asheville, NC
Charlotte NC
After that, I'm not sure. I might swing down to N. Georgia to see a friend...onto ATL...maybe to Cape Canaveral to do the space thing and get in some beach time.
After that I'll probably drift back home to MN.
It would be fun to cross paths with some Treebuzz folks. My camper is self contained but it needs a spot to park. Drop me a note if this might work out.
Also, I realize this is a huge swath of country. Lots of tourist potential and site seeing. Any suggestions of 'can't miss' places are welcome. Especially the treasures that aren't so popular and tourist jammed.
Later this spring my plan is to pack up and start a trip west. Glacier and Banff have been out of reach since most of my long vacations have been in winter which took me more in southern Rockies and desert SW/Slickrock
