Rigging Configuration Pics

What was the pic weight?

Honestly, I have no idea. I do not have a working LMI. I go off of feel and the chart. I know, I know. Kinda stupid. But it is what it is. I would of guessed about 3K. This set up I was good for 6800 lbs. So I know it wasn't bigger than that, because the crane didn't tip over;)

Well that makes total sense. LOL

...wheres your friggin video tag already?

Oh, gawd... my video editing crap doesn't want to work on this 'puter, so I gotta put another Winblows machine together. I'm swamped with work and I have equipment repairs to do. And as if that wasn't bad enough... I'm running low on excuses. ;)

I did try to take some video at the jobsite, today. Then left the stupid thing on my helmet, in the trailer I left there. Been an all around crappy week. Only bright spot is I got some Gecko CF climbers ordered... I really hope they're as nice as people say, cuz I really need something to go right this week.

Some nice rigging here guys. Hey @Daniel, what are you running for a bucket? I've been looking for A 75' rear mounted elevator without spending over $70k. Bought ready to settle for a 60-65' truck. Royce recommended a while back that I should find what I want and not to settle for less. Winters coming and I want to spend some time in the bucket before the season slows down. Also looking to finance a new "monstabark" chipper, so I'm trying to watch my finances.

75' rear mount altec elevator... can't go wrong if you can afford it
I have some coin and trying to kill two birds with one stone. I guess patience is a virtue. I'll keep looking .... and waiting. Thanks for the reply. You just backed up my belief... go big or go home.

@96coal449 I did a job today with my crane. 105 feet of boom. Rear mounted. Back in between a house and shed. Just enough room to get the out riggers down. Boomed off the back and grabbed a pine top weighing about 2200. Then, set it down in from of the cab of the truck. This set up could not of been done with out a rear mounted crane with 360 degree work area. Take your time and get what you want. Don't let the price tell you what you should get, get what will make you money and get jobs done faster.
