Rigging bags

We just started putting together a few rigging bags recently to help stream line things a bit and help keep my new crew members organized about what I'll need for the jobs.

The yellow petzl bag is our "small" rigging bag. Contents include a small porta wrap, a dmm pinto rig pulley on a tenex dead eye and the new teufelberger 1/2" diameter rigging line. It comes out on every job.

In the large teufelberger rope bag (bucket?) we have the large stainless steal porta wrap accompanied by The new ABR ultra sling sold at Treestuff.com, large DMM block, dmm pinto rig pulley on a tenex dead eye sling (not shown, for lighter rigging) and the new teufelberger 9/16 rigging line.

The new teufelberger lines are amazing so far. They hold a knot better then any rigging line I've ever used and they are extremely durable although we rarely natural crotch rig.

I would love to hear more about the teufelberger ropes.
are you calling the 12mm 1/2"? 14mm 9/16?

are your lines spliced or terminated with a knot?

i'm pretty curious so any info you'd care to relate would be appreciated.

Yes. Those are the sizes I'm referencing. We don't have any spices on either rope.

Only time will tell how well they hold up but you can tell just by the feel of the rope that it's going to be a really tough rigging line

Any other opinions on block and sling bags (or bins or ideas) would be appreciated. I'm starting to get a mess in my toolboxes in the bucket truck. Been splicing too many slings maybe? IDK...but I need something better than the bucket boss and short rope bag I'm using....preferably something stackable...

If you could fasten it in there are those small organizers you can find at walmart with 3 or 4 sliding drawers. They'd be fairly cheap and keep everything organized and you can label drawers for easy finding. Just a idea.

We have a rope bag for slings, a bag for hardware, and a tall, top loading, free standing bag for the rigging line (it can hold over 300' of 5/8" line). The GRCS is underneath everything, which all usually comes out when we need it. When we set up for rigging, the three bags come out and we build up what we need from the bags. I really getting away from blocks left on slings. We use rings and Dan House Sleeves for a lot now anyway.

I guess this is due to the tool box orientation. We might do something differently with more space, or more compartments. In the truck that holds all the rigging gear, it's just a cross-rail saddle box with a couple shelves. Everything sorta stacks up on the passenger side. A few other rig and pull lines are coiled and hang on the hooks above. All the other gear can be accessed from the driver's side.

Whip, you run the rigging line thru the dan house?
