It appears that the slope levels out just above the tree, thus the pull line to yard the sections to more level ground?

No doubt that rigging 1500 lb sections can apply some serious loads to all parts of the rigging, especially down lower when there's less room to let the loads run. Good call on the double rigging....and the method of equalizing....schweeet!

Me, I like to avoid rigging wood, and might have considered vertical speedlining, if there was nothing in the immediate LZ to damage.
