Respectful correction Tom. USS Constitution, aka 'Old Ironsides'.

Ahhh...I'm just a 'grass-combing lubber' as Captain Jack Aubrey would say!

Coming from your side...Navy, right Kristian???...You're right :)

Re: Rigger on \'USS Constitution\' aka \'Old Ironsides\'

Wow what a dream job. Ive been obsessed with tall ships since reading the Horatio Hornblower novels as a youth. After the passing of the Age of Sail a certain aesthetic and beauty left sea borne commerce that may never be captured again. Although I have heard of solar sails being affixed to modern cargo ships.

Marlinspiker,

Have you read Patrick O'Brian? Forrester/Hornblower is good writing and reading. POB is wayyyyyyy better :)

A glass of wine with you, sir!
