TeirsonB: You need to have a web-site for that thing. I think if you had a photo gallery and videos if it in action, you'd sell them like "hot cakes."

I like the idea. Vertical post are the challenge. Maybe a feller buncher grapple would be the best for verticle spars.

The scale of the feller buncher grapple and the crane are way off. I just grabbed a couple of photos from google to illustrate the idea.

Ideal setup would be to have vertical and horizontal grabbers and ability to use one or the other depending on what you're picking. Either way that is one awesome piece of equipment.

The thing about vertical picks is that they are to easy to rig. I like the extra time savings you get with the R&R because don't have to climb way out on the horizontal stems (especially the ones with no TIP above)
