Review of Chainsaw Pants

I thought the gladiators were a step up. My boots ar soaked and I have a puddle of sweat under my feet in the truck. Funny how they drain the sweat. It was dripping down the outside of my boots. Humid as hell today.

Step up in durability, yes.
The gladiators are a heavier and more durable material. They weigh more and breath less.

Im currently rocking the husky's and am looking for a change for they are hot as hell! I normally wear a 34 x 36 Does anyone have experience with which ones will fit a long inseam?

I have the Francitals, the Pfanners (ventilators), and the Arbortecs. I tried the Husqy's (technical) and they felt nice but don't come in a long inseam so they got returned. Pfanner make the Steins... Pfanner wins hands down, the Arbortecs and Francitals are a close second.

I have used pfanner gladiators, and they have held up incredibly well. They were my only pair of saw pants for the first two years I owned them. I'd switch to chaps for mid summer heat. They are still kicking, but some of the stitching is starting to go.
The second year I bought a pair of the francitals and regretted it from day one. They are lighter but fit funny, and they were in need of repair within two months. I would have sent them back but I already sent the first pair back due to miss labeled size.
I then bought a pair of steins. They are a great pant. Best fit out of the three, cooler and lighter than the gladiators (but still hot). They won't last as long.

Going for a pair of gladiator vents next hope they are worth the $

I'll have to amend my review of the arbortec pants. The won't work for me. Wore them today since I can't seem to sell them on Lukes floor. The length of the waist and the cut of them has chaffed the insides of my thighs so bad I can hardly stand it. Miserable. They are good pants just not the ones for me.

Also now both of my pfanner pants back pocket stitching and fabric have unraveled making the pocket useless. It's odd that both pants, which have seen about 2 weeks use each have had the same problem in the same spot. Maybe I need to email them. @bonner1040 do you have a contact for me? @TreeStuff

Maybe? Call them and let them know. If its within the warranty then definitely send them back. Even if they're just beyond, given the amount of use, I'd still send them back.

When products go bad we need to send them back so the company is aware that there is an issue. Only way they can make any improvements!

I bought the Steins, tried them on at home, I don't think I'm a saw pants guy, going to stay with chaps.

I've actually changed my mind, Arbortecs for the win!
