Shoulder strap rescue slings.

Has anyone seen or made an adjustable length shoulder strap rescue sling??

We are required when working on the lines to have two slings for rescue, these are only to be used to assist with keeping the injured in an upright position during rescue.

The sling does not need to be made of webbing, could also be made from round cordage, and does not need to rated for life support.

The issue with set length slings is when working with climbers who are of bigger or smaller body types, Long or short bridge lengths etc.

The set length slings satisfies our requirements and the assessor during auditing, however can’t help but think if we are required to have a piece of equipment it may aswell be useful as possible

When we were doing Arborist rescue training we used a short fixed sling to connect to the harnesses of the casualty and rescuer, and used our lanyard over the shoulder to keep casualty vertical.

Is that still an option or am I out of date on rescue techniques?
