Refreshing plan for America.

you're a trip!! If this is how you view McCain, as a flip flop? How come you accept it in your candidate??? Let's at least be intellectually honest here brother Wilt?! Obama has changed a multitude of positions for political expedience!! After the primaries he made an obvious move toward the center!! Hey man ............that is politics, it is kind of like a chess match. But please do not insult me and :act as if "your man" is above reproach!! that is just not the reality of the situation.
Enjoying the banter

...and McCain's flipping then flopping starting from "our economy's sound" two weeks ago to yesterday's "I'm suspending my campaign to save America" and then tonight he's doing the debates that yesterday he said he wouldn't, makes /Sen. Kerry look straighter than an 5lb fishing line hooked to a 80lb Muskie.

I'm sorry I'm laughing, but I can't help it after watching Palin interviewed by Katie Couric of all people, a fellow news twinky but a whole lots of smarters.

Unbelievable.

I'll ease-up on ya friend, seriously. It's more than sorry this fading hockeymom..she needs to freshen-up her lipstick, seems to have lost it's luster.

Oakwilt, this is where Democrats can lose the election. WIth an attitude of "I can't believe how incompetent she is", the support for her from middle America will swell to a tidal wave.

Everybody who seriously studies Presidential politics knows that the VP spot is a moot point on the ticket [ see Dan Quayle ] . Drop the attacks on the ditzy beauty queen, and focus on the real prize.....change in Washington.

Taitree, you have made your points clearly, and you are obviously a man of sound judgement. Your repeated pleas to Oakwilt to separate you from his generalizations of the "right wing base" are falling on deaf ears with him.

I commend you for your tenacity in defending your opinion.

Oakwilt, I was also pleased to hear that you had actual treework to do instead of continuing to bash a meaningless VP pick.

BOO YAH !!!!

Yeah oakwilt and you're also a big poopy-head.

C'mon, Jim.

Poopy-head is beneath you. You could have said "feces-laden cranium" or something to that effect.

And watch the liberal use of the "Boo-Ya". That catch phrase can get away from you.

BOOYAH guys, winters coming and we all need a hearty stew-like meal in us to help us think more clearly and make rational decisions. I like that word, booyah I think I'll use it more often, like when I'm happy or , um.... hungry . Anyway, sorry about the cheap shot oakie, Go McCain/Palin.

I still don't get this?... How can people still be so gullible after all that has happened? Is it Obama? Or are you so single minded that you will follow your party right into the ground?

If the folly of the last eight years were on account of my party I would drop them like a bad habit.

FWIW wando,

This thread has been beat to death, I won't waste my energy trying to explain to you who I will vote for and why. Besides, I have cartoons to watch.

I think America won't admit it, but finds itself resistant to change by way of a black candidate, even if it means holding dear to a failed economy, loosing two current wars, and keeping the burner on high for climate change they insist isn't happening.

A private Christian college in Washington State had hung an Obama facsimile from a noose in the old manner of a lynching this week. That reveals a pretty ugly reality still prevalent in America and I suspect a subtle indication of a larger cultural feeling no one's comfortable to admit. I dare say this because the rational for Sarah's support is that "she's a normal hockeymom" and so Barak is a "educated and "well-dictioned" speaker...meaning he's not the normal black-jiving, ebonically correct linguist.

Totally not a black white thing with me!!! It is a principal thing . I would LOVE a black prez ... if he / she shared my positions. Colin Powell for example.. Or perhaps Michael Steele. But because these are not Libs the left would certainly not tout these choices as a breakthrough? Look at the ripping they gave Clarance Thomas??!! The man is a great American. He is a strict constructionist

Hang in there Tait, Clear open minded thinking is key, youv'e got it and your opponents are utterly freaked out. To think of being like Oakwilt, i.e. utterly obsessed with a singleminded point of view, he must be so unhappy, it gives me the creeps to imagine being like that.

In the debate, I thought McCain seemed to be more the viscious, frequently-fact twisting politician than Obama, but still don't know who I'll vote for.

It's so strange (and I'm being serious), this is exactly how libs feel, what with all that's happened since 2000. What a total disaster...
