All good info.. HOWEVER your sources clearly state that the only know infection east of the Susquehana River, is in Albany NY. Here's a hint for ya... Philly is east of the river too! Are you really that ignorant to not know what the sources you quote are saying..

are you at least going to start to prune your oaks in winter ?? do you think that is good to do ?? the info i gave you states that oak wilt was in your park right in philly !!!!!! i cant read it for you too city boy !!!

The preventative measures for Oak Wilt are a good start for dealing with other oak born disease issues. Sanitize your tools and try to prune in the Winter. Im aware that Oak Wilt has mostly held on the other side of the big river but it doesn't hurt to practice these sound practices for dealing with the disease issues we do have that are very similar to OW. I read last year in a bulletin that some cases of OW were found in Lancaster. Ill try to find it.
