Recommended fall season (Canada) rain gear?

Here's my take on rain gear. You can either wear it and get soaked from sweat, or not wear it and get soaked from water. I prefer water.

I just use some wool baselayers (helps keeps you warm even when wet) and pack a change of clothes for when the rain breaks or end of day.
YES, that is how I operate. Unless it’s cool enough and very very wet, then I pull out the grundens pvc..

Same here, I just keep a few dry shirts with me and put one on at lunch and another at the end of the day.

Honestly Costco Canada has some pretty good clothing for a reasonable price. You do suffer a bit of the overheating issue since they're obviously not designed for athletic wear, but overall I find them good and I'm not going to cry if they get torn open (though this hasn't happened yet as the quality is quite good). I have a rain jacket from there that's been worn for a few years as well as some killer down-filled flannel sweaters which are fantastic for the Canadian winters when it's not too wet/windy.

Has anyone on here tried anything from Rain Gear Pro? It’s a Canadian company, the build looks old school, the material looks like it’s actually waterproof, but most importantly: bulletproof. These jackets have appeal because they look like brush/pokies, or rolling around under equipment wouldn’t phase it. Downside is, looks like it could get swampy and hot…. (I live/work at elevation so when there’s precipitation, temps are typically on the lower side anyways…….) any real world experience on here with this brand? The reviews on the website don’t really tell me shit…
