Quickie

Lots of easy ways to increase the bend radius on the pin...

Shackle-Bend-Radius.webp

Hose, PEK tubing, PVC tubing, Aluminum tubing, SS pipe/tubing, brass bushings, nylon bushings... look around in hardware, farm supply, home improvement stores. Downside of this, though, is that it makes for another piece to drop. Handy for stuff you're putting together on the ground, or semi-permanent attachments for experimental projects.

can't wait to get my hands on one of these. ill reserve judgement till i have more experience and knowledge with this slickpin. Still, I imagine the safety factor or lifespan of the slickpin would increase if it had both threads AND locking pins. any thoughts?

yeah didn't think of that, it would be like cracking a vault haha. I can think of a dozen uses for the quickie as is, i'm just brainstorming here.

call me old fashioned, I'd really like to see a version with a stationary slick pin version . maybe a pin that would have a terminal with clockwise threads a smooth space and then counter clockwise threads.

Kevin, any plans to make a long version? I can think of a few uses for one of these that is maybe 2x as long as it is wide. Did you have the bow custom made? Looks great
