Quickest way for tree assending

Hi i was wondering what other climbers thoughts are on the quickest way to assend a srt 30m incorporating a foot assender and chest assender... any particular setups i should try...

Rope walking with SAKA and foot ascender. That's how I ascend 90% of the time. Although I skip the chest ascender and use the HH2
Perhaps you could hang your configuration and photograph it? Might be helpful to new guys just getting into it. There are also plenty of online videos, but I find the arrangements don’t always line up with the gear I may have. So I started using conventional climbing setups, with Prussics and rope grabs, jumars and foot loops. But wow! There sure is an assortment of gear available now! I could spend thousands of dollars on gear.
My deal at 54 is not speed it’s the least amount of effort! Always has been. The whole purpose was to reduce effort to get to the next belay station. Contrary to what us tree people believe, we didn’t invent this technique. It has been used for many years by multi pitch climbers.
The idea is climbers would swap pitches to ascend huge faces to conserve energy. One climber leads a pitch while the other belays. The lead climber then creates a belay or anchor and the other climber walks up the rope and so on.

I probably will not have my climbing gear out anytime soon, so here is a pic that I borrowed off of Wesspur. The key components here are a foot ascender, knee ascender (SAKA, HAAS, homemade), SRT climbing device (rope wrench [pictured], Hitch hiker, akimbo, rope runner...) and a way of tending the device such as a chest harness or lanyard over the shoulder. Once you learn the motions that your legs must make, it is very efficient and faster than most other ascent systems.

I had a figure 8 work itself loose, it requires a back up knot in the tail for moving systems.

Yes, agreed … I don't like the F8 for a stopper, either. I prefer a single or Double Overhand as a stopper – depending on the situation. However, just to be clear, in my HH8 Hitch the F8 is not a stopper. The F8 is at the top of the wraps which simply gives the hitch a broader 'sweet-spot' in the action of the hitch.

Can you take a picture of it, I’m not 100 percent sure what you are saying
