quick impression of yesterdays job

The main reason this tree has to be removed was the neighbour. The tree was undermining his gardenshed and the bricks were allready cracked.
The place wasn't big enough to let it grow bigger anyway without having major issues in the future.

It was a perfectly healthy tree and it was just the tight spot it was standing in that lead to the removal.

For the zipline we used the Yale double esterlon rope (yellow 14,5 mm).

For ziplining you indeed need capable groundies who knows their gear. With the winch its easy enough to jurk the top out of the tree when setting tension on the zipline ;-) So don't try this with unexperienced groundsmen.

Sad but true :-(

But hey, cheer up we also can save a lot of trees trough good advice and proper pruning methods :-)

So no worries as long as we call ourselfes arborist we don't have to worry about removals every now and then. By the time we start calling ourselfes loggers we don't even bother about a tree's life.

I kind of like this sentence I read somewheren on the buzz :

Earth first - we'll log the other plantes later ;-)

For someone whose second language is English, (that is unless he learned a few other languages better than English) Wouter does a fine job. In fact, I have often thought that his grammar is more accurate than many others on here, whose first language is supposed to be English.

Nice rigging by the way
